As each year passes, Aali Qadr Moula TUS increases our josh and walwalo towards Imam Husein AS while reminding us of how Burhanuddin Moula RA taught mumineen to perform matam and buka.

With that in mind, Shabab ul Eidiz Zahabi – Houston under the guidance of Anjuman-e-Shujaee – Houston, will undertake an annual khidmat of taking zuwars for the Arbaeen walk, InshaAllah. With Chehlum falling on October 30th, 2018, travel dates for this year are October 24th, 2018 to November 4, 2018.

We will arrive in Najaf and spend 2 days in Najaf for Ziyarat and rest before commencing the Arbaeen walk to Karbala. The walk normally takes 2-4 days depending on your own pace. Groups may be divided based on pace and comfort but mumineen are free to walk at a pace that suits themselves. The group will be in Karbala during Arbaeen/Chehlum which is a unique opportunity. The group will be staying in Karbala for 2 days after the walk. It is important to note that this is an approximately 50 mile walk and Arbaeen attracts millions of zuwar from across the world. Performing ziyarat during this period can be a challenge and while there will be Shabab volunteers to assist during the walk, mumineen should understand that this can be strenuous for many.
